I am grateful that sometimes I can recognize the aspects of my day that are genuinely significant. I reach out for a friend within the process of a painting. I zero in on a moment of appreciation for a magnificent lake. I work oil sticks on paper, engaging my current understanding of the meaning of relationship. The painting is about connections and how I see myself connected to the whole. I have an underlying belief that if I am able to do the work, and I do the work, I am giving the world something back. I take delight in the circling of it all. Yeshe currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is originally from Minnesota. |
