Join us on October 25th from 5 to 7 PM for the opening reception of The Tyranny of Small Things, an exhibition of found image collages, mixed media paintings, and sculptures by Steven Campbell. This exhibition highlights Campbell's eye for social commentary that he has developed over his nearly 40 year career as a fine art print publisher. In this exhibition, historical reproductions of famous paintings collide with cynical advertising copy, family heirlooms become experiments in creative destruction, and figures renowned for their monumental brutality have the delicate facades of their visual legacy destroyed by painterly mark making.
