Join us on 27 February from 5 to 7 P.M. for the opening reception of Formulation: Articulation, an exhibition of vibrant screenprints by Josef Albers. Formulation: Articulation showcases a curation of prints from Albers’s landmark portfolio of the same name. Released in 1972, just four years before the artist’s death, Formulation: Articulation comprises 127 screenprints across sixty-six sheets, reflecting more than four decades of Albers’s sustained investigation into the relationship between color and optical perception. Join us as we revisit Albers's pioneering color theory through this milestone portfolio displayed for the first time as an object of study and aesthetic excellence.
