Opening Reception | Powerhouse: The Engaged Regionalism of Judith Chafee's Architecture: 5–7 P.M.
Forthcoming event
Overview
435 S. Guadalupe St.
Join us Friday, September 25, from 5–7 p.m., for the opening reception of Powerhouse: The Engaged Regionalism of Judith Chafee’s Architecture. Featuring Framing the Desert, curated by Christopher Domin and Kathryn McGuire for the University of Arizona, the exhibition brings together architectural photography by Bill Timmerman, graphics of Chafee's career and builds, and scale models of three of Chafee’s major projects. Together, these works honor Judith Chafee’s legacy while considering her approach to regionalism as a methodology for constructing the Southwest's future built environment.
