Created for "Convergence" in Minnesota, Wheeler designed the silk/wool jacket with dolman sleeves based on the black-and-white feather markings of the loon, the Minnesota state bird. The loon’s red eyes are represented in the buttons at the collar. The headdress features Wheeler’s handwoven fabric; silversmithing by Maria Mayo; and fabric construction by Alice McKee.
